Abstract

Silver have become a substance of great interest among researches in the present time due to its low cost and its wide range of applications in various fields. Moreover, recently, green nanotechnology has been gaining popularity because of its exclusion of damaging reagents and cost-effectiveness. In this study, ginger mediated silver were prepared and confirmed with spectroscopy. The ginger mediated silver were then tested for its antibacterial activity using agar well diffusion method against Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus and . The antimicrobial activity was found to be highest against among the test organisms. Silver using natural substances can be used in control of oral pathogens.
